Privacy Policy for Gemoria

Gemoria is a mobile puzzle game developed and published by gemoria games. This Privacy Policy explains what information Gemoria collects, how that information is used, and how you can contact us about privacy questions.

1. Overview

Gemoria is a match-3 puzzle/adventure game. The app does not require users to create an account, sign in, provide a name, provide an email address, or submit free-text content.

Gemoria does not include advertising, in-app purchases, real-money coin packs, chat, social features, user-generated content, or a custom online backend.

Gemoria uses Google Firebase services to understand basic gameplay behaviour and improve app stability:

2. Information we do not collect directly

Gemoria does not directly ask you to provide:

your name
your email address
your phone number
your postal address
payment information
contacts
photos
messages
precise location
account login details
free-text messages or user-generated content

3. Information collected automatically

When you use Gemoria, some information may be collected automatically through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.

This may include:

app usage and gameplay events, such as app opens, level starts, level completions, level failures, progress events, move counts, score ranges, reward events, onboarding/help events, and similar compact gameplay telemetry
app and device information, such as app version, build version, Android version, device model, device manufacturer, screen/device characteristics, language, and general technical context
app lifecycle information, such as sessions, first open, screen/app activity, and whether the app was in the foreground or background
approximate region or coarse location information that may be derived by Google/Firebase from technical information such as masked IP address
app or device identifiers used by Firebase services, such as Firebase app instance ID, Firebase installation ID, Crashlytics installation UUID, and, where applicable, Android Advertising ID
crash and diagnostic information, such as crash stack traces, relevant app state at the time of a crash, operating system version, device metadata, and crash-related logs

Gemoria does not set custom user IDs and does not associate Firebase data with a user account, because Gemoria does not have user accounts.

4. How we use information

We use the information collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to:

understand whether players can start and complete levels
identify difficulty spikes or progression issues
understand whether onboarding and help screens are useful
measure broad gameplay balance and feature usage
detect crashes, errors, ANRs, and stability problems
diagnose and fix bugs
improve the quality, reliability, and playability of Gemoria

We do not use this information to show ads, sell user profiles, provide targeted advertising, or create user accounts.

5. Sharing of information

Gemoria does not sell personal information.

Information collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics is processed by Google/Firebase as our service provider for analytics and crash reporting. Google/Firebase may process this information according to its own terms, privacy policy, and data processing practices.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.

6. Advertising and purchases

Gemoria currently does not contain advertising.

Gemoria currently does not contain in-app purchases, subscriptions, real-money coin packs, or billing features.

If advertising, billing, subscriptions, or real-money purchases are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released.

7. Children’s privacy

Gemoria is a general-audience puzzle game and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

The app does not include accounts, chat, social features, free-text input, advertising, or in-app purchases.

8. Data security

We rely on Firebase and Google services to process analytics and crash information. Firebase data is transmitted using secure transport mechanisms.

We do not operate a custom server for Gemoria player accounts, profiles, payments, chat, or user-generated content.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, but we aim to use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate for a small mobile game.

9. Data retention and deletion

Gemoria does not maintain user accounts or user profiles.

Analytics and crash information is retained in Firebase/Google systems according to Firebase and Google Analytics retention settings and service policies. Crash reports and related diagnostic information are retained for a limited period by Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics retention settings configured for the app.

Because Gemoria does not require accounts and does not set custom user IDs, we may not be able to identify analytics or crash records associated with a specific individual user.

You may be able to limit or reset some identifiers at the Android device level, such as by resetting your device advertising ID or changing privacy settings available in Android.

You may also uninstall Gemoria at any time to stop further app usage data being sent from that installation.

10. International processing

Firebase and Google services may process data in countries other than the country where you live. By using Gemoria, you understand that analytics and crash information may be processed by Google/Firebase in accordance with their service terms and privacy practices.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if Gemoria adds new features, changes analytics usage, adds purchases, adds advertising, or changes support/contact arrangements.

When we update the policy, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected in the version of the policy linked from the app and/or the Google Play listing.
